10 Dutch Rappers Featured in One Track Dedicated to the 10th Anniversary of Jimmy Woo

The legendary Jimmy Woo celebrated the golden decade of being one of the hottest spots in Amsterdam’s nightlife with its exclusive 10thAnniversary party on 6 December 2013.

Jimmy Woo Birthday Bash

Only those with a personal invitation were allowed to the special celebration that went on from 20:00 until 23:00. Present were Sophie van der Stap, Sallie Harmsen, Sophie Hilbrand, Waldemar Torenstra, Anna Drijver, Ben Saunders, Dennis van der Geest, Eva van de Wijdeven, Georgina Verbaan, Ruud de Wild, Sanne Vogel, Stacey Rookhuizen and Valerio Zeno and other members of the Jimmy family.

After 23:00, the doors were open for the weekly Friday night party Please Don’t Tell with R&B, Hip-Hop, Garage, UK Bass and Dance tunes. The dress code was Biker Chique, welcoming guests to wear black and leather. 

The Tribute Track JIMMEY

As a tribute to the iconic Jimmy Woo and a birthday gift, 10 Dutch rappers recorded the song JIMMEY. Produced by Reverse and Soulsearchin, the track features the vocals of I Am Aisha, Dio, Sef, Adje, Lil Kleine, Abstract, MC Fit, Murda Turk, Cho, Sjaak and Ruben from The Partysquad. The video is created by BeemDesign and Bas Mutsaards.

It all started on 3 December 2003, when the mysterious club opened doors and soon after gained the reputation of a posh and classy club, with a strict door policy, elegant oriental design and extraordinary top-notch parties for a sophisticated clientele.
