Following two successful editions, Amsterdam Film Week returns from 28 October to 3 November 2013 for a whole week of quality films, screened in cinemas and venues across Amsterdam.
The event kicks-off tonight at 21.00 with the Dutch premiere of Steve McQueen’s latest movie 12 Years a Slave, which will be screened at four of the locations.
The movie program includes also Amongst Friends, the European film An Episode in the Life of an Iron Picker, the award winning Argo, Pixar’sBrave, Django Unchained, In Bloom, Mistaken for Strangers, Kill Your Darlings, Lincoln, Much Ado About Nothing, the latest film by Lee DanielsThe Butler and many more movies from the U.S. as well as from Italy, France, India, Uruguay and Austalia.
Locations are De Balie, Cinecenter, EYE Museum, Kriterion, Pathe Tuschinski and De Uitkijk.
