AIFW 2010 was an impressive event. As promised, we have covered the event and brought to you some videos from it so far. We are intending to release more impressions, images and videos from that event in the following weeks, so stay tuned.
This article will deal with beautiful people our camera hunted during the event. As you know, this even is invitation only and many famous people are visiting it. Dress up for the event is a must and people do make sure they are being noticed. Here are few examples:
After we have tortured you all with football for few weeks, it is time for fashion. This week, the Amsterdam Fashion week starts and we are happy to let you in on the latest in fashion.
Last night, two design houses presented their collection for Next spring.
Iris van Herpen represented an avant-garde couture image with a slightly futuristic undertone.
Design duo Truus en Riet Spijkers will launch a new line for Spring Summer 2011. The twinsisters have created a diffusion line that will be a sister to their existing main line Spijkers en Spijkers and has the very suitable name: SIS by Spijkers en Spijkers.
We will keep updating you about the latest from the events at Amsterdam International Fashion Week.
Tonight, January 31st, the Amsterdam International fashion week was concluded.
Five days of fashion celebration, creativity, parties, catwalks and press releases came to an end in the city in a spectacular show of laser and smoke and fashion accessories.
The last show was a catwalk presenting the wearable artwork of Bibi van der Velden and sponsored by Samsung LadyPhone.
What at first seemed like a photography nightmare due to the smoke and hostile laser beams turned into a fantastic show that was well adopted by still images and video footages.
Amsterdam International fashion week is upon us this week and the city is excited than ever.
Models, celebrities, fashion designers, photographers, movie makers... you name it, they all gather at the old Westergasfabriek in Amsterdam west to celebrate this bi- annually event.
Lots of lights, flashes PR and shiny outfits. The idea is to show yourself and rub shoulders with the industry leaders.
In a fashionably late manner of an hour and a half the event launched on Wednesday evening
Jan Taminiau was the first to present his collection followed by MATTIJS, the label designed by Mattijs van Bergen.
The Spoke is one of the magazines that will go the extra step/mile/ KM or 600 of them in this case, just to bring its readers a fresh view at unique events, first raw view.
We were invited to Paris lately to attend the Prêt A porter, the world renowned fashion trade fair.
This is the first time we are visiting this event and it took few minutes before we got ourselves together and started shooting and interviewing. Our first item to present our readers is without a doubt Lisca lingerie and swimwear line. This unique Slovenian design for lingerie and swimwear caught our immediate attention.
