Mariah McKenna

Mariah McKenna, who grew up just North of San Francisco, is getting ready to embark upon the adventures of a second year in Amsterdam.  She was working as a preschool teacher before deciding to go back to university to pursue her love of reading and writing.  When her husband was offered the chance to work abroad the couple jumped at the chance, and just days after receiving her BA in English from UC Berkeley they were living here in Amsterdam, where she has spent much time journaling her experiences.  Though food and wine are two of her favorite things, they (or at least wine) have taken a back burner to the very exciting news that she and her husband will be expecting their first child in March.
