Amsterdam News
Brewing a browser

The world-renowned Heineken brewery in Amsterdam has brewed a new product: Google Chrome.

No, this is not any hoax, it is simply a new trend in advertising and promoting products and services.

The first to report the news was a local management blog written by Endeavour, a local interim management firm that exposed the fact that Google Chrome is presented in slides on the outside wall of the Amsterdam Heineken Brewery.

The blog uses a short footage showing the new phenomena and reveal some data concerning the popularity or web browser and their trend. According to the blog, Google Chrome, after massive promotion has just passed Apple's Safari on its way up and is placed third after leading Ms Internet Explorer, accumulated versions of 6 ,7 and 8 and Firefox which is second in popularity.

AIFW 2010: Fashion, fashion fashion...

Amsterdam International fashion week is upon us this week and the city is excited than ever.

Models, celebrities, fashion designers, photographers, movie makers... you name it, they all gather at the old Westergasfabriek in Amsterdam west to celebrate this bi- annually event.

Lots of lights, flashes PR and shiny outfits. The idea is to show yourself and rub shoulders with the industry leaders.

In a fashionably late manner of an hour and a half the event launched on Wednesday evening

Jan Taminiau was the first to present his collection followed by MATTIJS,  the label designed by Mattijs van Bergen.

Electrable Nights 2009
With the Christmas and New Year period, Brussels has a new main attraction: Electrical nights!

We went all the way to Brussels to see the open air show and try to absorb and understand the attraction force of the show.

We stood there together will all locals and tourists from all over the world and for hours looked at the lights orchestrated together with pop and classical music. The effect was amazing and hurt warming in the night's cold.

Few minutes into the show and we created a new mission: we have to bring them to Amsterdam for a show!

For the last seven months the Pure Markt http://www.puremarkt.nl/ has shown its face on a monthly basis (with exception of July), just past the Ringdijk in Oost-Watergraafsmeer in Park Frankendael.  This specialized market brings together local and regional, traditional, creative, sustainable food, drinks, and products.  The paths of the park are lined with not only stands, but also games and small carnival rides for the kids, picnic tables for enjoying the great treats, and live music.

Bali: The Paradise Island
Jul 20, 2010 at 08:50 PM

The island of Bali offers a vacation experience like no other. Glorious beaches, lush rainforests, luxurious villas, and a fascinating native culture make this island a true paradise for visitors.

Bali is an Indonesian island on the western end of the Lesser Sunda Islands. Its capital is the city of Denpasar in the south. Visitors tend to flock to Kuta, Sanur, and Jimbaran, all southern coastal towns, but the central town of Ubud and other parts of Bali are equally compelling. Gleaming white and black sand beaches ring the island's shores, lapped gently by the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. Rich coral reefs surround the island and allow for superb snorkeling and diving. The island rises in mountains toward its interior, and bursts with tropical flowers and trees. Bali's rainforests are home to hundreds of species of rare birds as well as monkeys, bats, wild cats, and other creatures.
