A popular 58 YO Chinese vlogger who used a filter to make her look in her twenties, had her cover blown when the lens vanished in a tech glitch, the BBC reported.

The vlogger, who calls herself “Your Highness Qiao Biluo” and had more than 100,000 followers, saw viewers leave her video chatroom en masse after the slipup, according to the BBC.

Qiao Biluo, 58, had raked in more than $14,000 from fans, according to China’s Global Times.

Immediately after the incident, she suspended her platform, according to the BBC, and some of her followers asked for their money back — especially men.

Users on YouTube posted video of Qiao Biluo vlogging.

The revelation has reportedly led to chatter and criticism of beauty standards in China, where live vlogging is extremely popular.

Qiao Biluo has returned to streaming and is working on a rap song, according to news website Asia One.
