In the festive December, The Dutch National Ballet presents the classicThe Sleeping Beauty from 12 December 2013 to 1 January 2014 at Amsterdam’s Muziektheater.
The story of the beautiful Princess Aurora, trapped in a sleeping curse for a hundred years , waiting to be awakened by the kiss of a prince, is presented in an adapted version by Sir Peter Wright.
The ballet will feature the original choreographaphy by Marius Petipa and the beautiful music by the composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.
