Soll is known to be a famous ski resort especially among the beginner and intermediate skiers. It is part of Ski Welt which is Austra’s largest ski region. Soll offers its visitors moderate hills, gorgeous landscape and reasonably priced accommodation. It is one of the best places for the lovers of the ski life.
It is an extremely popular winter holiday destination and you have to hold in mind that it gets a lot crowded during the weekends and holidays. You can also enjoy night skiing which is offered between 6:30 pm and 10:15 pm in the Valley run Soll.
The whole Ski Welt area is around 279 km including slopes, 91 cable cars and lifts. The holiday season is between December 22 and March 20.
The price of the ski passes are between 37.50 euro per day for an adult and 19 euro per day for a child. Visitors can also buy discounted ski passes for several days but no more than to 2 weeks.
If you arrange your holiday month in advance you can find a cheap flight at around 70 Euros, one way. You need to prepare to pay between 37 Euros for the accommodation per person per night in 3 star hotels and up to 60 Euros per person per night in a 4 -star hotel.
There are also a lot of cheap pensions, located outside the main resort area, for those who are on limited budget.
The nearby airport is Slazburg which is 80km from the resort. From there you can rent a car or you can check if the hotel proposes transfer services. Other options include flying into Innsbruck.
